Short Bio
Claudia completed three years of atelier-style study of representational oil painting at Whidbey Island Fine Art Studio. In 2020 she began showing her work at Rob Schouten Gallery in Langley, Washington on Whidbey Island. She moved to Albuquerque in January 2022.
Statement
Her work is a continual series of discoveries as she explores the world of oil painting. Her goal is to see and interpret the beauty that surrounds us and capture her vision in oils.
Biography
Claudia's life has always been informed by art. Retirement to Whidbey Island, WA afforded her the opportunity to seriously pursue her interest. In 2017 she began a diligent atelier course of study at Whidbey Island Fine Art Studio in Langley, WA. She moved to Albuquerque in January 2022 and is now inspired and challenged by the colors and atmosphere of New Mexico.

Work exhibited at Rob Schouten Gallery in Langley on Whidbey Island, WA.2020 through 2021. Work exhibited at the Gallery with a Cause in summer 2023. Exhibited her work during the Sandia Heights Artists Studio Tour. Has been accepted by the board of Amapola Gallery in Old Town Albuquerque and is awaiting space.
